About the Role
As a Senior Analyst, Analytics QA on the Digital Platforms & Operations team, you will oversee day-to-day analytics quality assurance activities across complex projects, ensuring data quality control and project performance standards are met. You will lead analytics QA execution, including functional testing, release testing, automation testing, and production support, while collaborating with technology and business teams.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day analytics quality assurance activities across complex, tactical projects.
- Ensure data quality control procedures and project performance standards are consistently met.
- Lead analytics QA execution, including functional testing, release testing, automation testing, and production support.
- Review requirements, define testing objectives, document results and defects, and drive resolution in partnership with technology and business teams.
- Build strong relationships with Squad and Product Owners, provide clear status updates, and manage expectations related to scope, risks, and timelines.
- Partner with Squad and Product Owners to gather complex business requirements, support solution design discussions, and ensure analytics QA activities align to project needs.
- Apply knowledge of Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) to support implementation and testing requirements.
- Create, validate, and execute test cases across web and mobile applications (Android and iOS) to identify gaps, errors, and data quality issues.
- Perform functional, release, and automation testing to support high-quality digital experiences.
- Manage and prioritize defect backlogs, document findings clearly, and work with stakeholders to support timely resolution and closure.
- Use ObservePoint to build and monitor customer journeys across online and mobile banking channels to validate analytics requirements in production.
- Review scan results to ensure the accuracy and compliance of client data across digital platforms.
- Investigate issues raised by business partners, support resolution efforts with developers, and provide timely updates on progress, risks, and timelines.
- Contribute to monthly financial tracking activities, including estimates, actuals, and burn-down reporting.
- Build trusted relationships with business stakeholders and technology partners, support informed decision-making, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Share knowledge, provide guidance to others, and help the team work toward common goals and milestones.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in web and mobile quality assurance.
- Experience within financial services is preferred.
- Exposure to analytics tools.
- Experience working on cross-portfolio initiatives in a matrix environment.
- Understanding of Agile and waterfall delivery approaches.
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Hands-on experience with tools such as HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
- Hands-on experience with mobile testing platforms such as Griffon or equivalent tools.
- Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as ObservePoint.
- Confidence in documenting results, tracking issues, and supporting end-to-end QA activities.
- Knowledge of digital tagging and analytics ecosystems, including Adobe Launch, Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), Adobe Experience Platform, and Adobe Journey Optimizer.
- Familiarity with JavaScript fundamentals is an asset.
- Familiarity with behavioral analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics is an asset.
