About the Role

Partner cross-functionally with teams throughout the company to validate business impacting analytical tools. Enhance technical and analytical skills while influencing business strategies. Work within a dynamic environment with opportunities for learning and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Refine a new Enterprise-wide analytical tools validation framework
  • Plan and execute validation projects
  • Assess the quality and risk of analytical tool methodologies and their usage
  • Understand technical issues in analytical tools and assess risks and opportunities
  • Independently research, identify, and prototype industry best practices for emerging analytical tools
  • Communicate results clearly and concisely through validation reports and presentations
  • Leverage education, colleagues, and training to develop solutions to business problems
  • Coach and mentor junior staff

Requirements

  • Possess strong problem-solving and conceptual thinking abilities
  • Possess communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Handle multiple concurrent projects
  • Work independently and in teams
  • Currently have, or be in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field plus at least 7 years of experience performing data analytics, OR currently have, or be in the process of obtaining a Master’s Degree plus at least 5 years of experience performing data analytics with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date
  • At least 5 years of experience performing professional data analysis work
  • At least 5 years of experience leading and developing with open source data technologies
  • At least 2 years of experience managing people
