About the Role

This is a leadership position within the Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAIO) team, focused on driving transformational AI efforts across STT’s processes and functions. The role involves partnering with business and technology teams to design and implement AI solutions using cutting-edge tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and partner with business leads to design, assess, and address strategic opportunities, including framing work plans and executing analyses.
  • Identify high-value opportunities by understanding client and business unit value drivers.
  • Translate strategy into clear product-aligned roadmaps that support the design of end-state AI solutions.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of business processes, functions, teams, and incumbent technology.
  • Drive the rollout and deployment of self-service technology platforms to accelerate AI capability adoption.
  • Anchor all phases of AI opportunity identification, including data gathering, requirements definition, baselining, root cause analysis, and AI design.
  • Support the creation of technology MVPs that align with business and technology outcomes.
  • Assess feasibility and drive AI strategy, encompassing automation, AI, and ML across STT’s footprint.
  • Conduct core project management activities, including facilitating meetings, interviewing stakeholders, hosting workshops, documenting findings, and creating presentations.
  • Enable detailed evaluation of proposed solutions by creating business case details, including cost vs. benefits, ROI, and tradeoffs.
  • Liaise with Investor Relations to support the CDAIO strategy and address key questions.
  • Create materials for future state socialization and execution, such as strategy presentations, requirement diagrams, job aids, and POCs.
  • Ensure delivery team success and risk management through proactive ownership of standard work products, version control, model lifecycle, and quality control.
  • Lead and develop a global team (1-5) to capture and express AI strategy execution and requirements & design in business services, fostering a culture of precision, clarity, strong execution, and high-quality output.

Requirements

  • Experience with strategy, product management, or portfolio leadership and support.
  • Strong background in data platforms and data strategy, as well as AI/ML and Generative AI.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to work well with cross-functional, multi-geography teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • AI Capability & Product Management experience.
  • Business Consulting experience leading large-scale implementation programs in consulting or financial services.
  • Business Process Re-Engineering – Workflow, AI & Process Automation experience (from current state thru target state and implantation).
  • 12+ years of experience.
  • Knowledge of AI / automation technologies.
  • Ability to build stakeholder networks, effective collaboration and partnership capabilities, and ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and proven experience in working with large cross-functional teams.

  • $120,000 - $217,500 Annual
