About the Role
The Associate, Video Investment supports the Investment team in media plan development and day-to-day maintenance for assigned clients. This role involves gathering data, assisting with reports, and actively learning about the media landscape to contribute to media recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Support the Investment team in media plan development and maintenance.
- Gather data using agency tools and online sources to support media recommendations.
- Assist in writing competitive reports.
- Stay updated on industry news and trends through trade journals and online sources.
- Network with other OMD disciplines to understand their functions and how they integrate with Digital efforts.
- Attend internal and external meetings and presentations, including brainstorming sessions.
- Participate in educational opportunities offered by OMD.
- Schedule meetings.
- Manage and resolve billing process questions and discrepancies.
- Prepare media authorizations.
- Evaluate and report on digital campaigns.
- Coordinate input from clients and OMD internal teams.
- Issue insertion orders and follow up on requests for information from representatives.
- Build PowerPoint presentations and construct/negotiate media plans (as comfort level increases).
Requirements
- 4-year college degree with coursework emphasis in Advertising/Marketing.
- Actively seeks to learn about the application of media, marketing, and advertising principles.
- Pursues information to better understand the media, marketing, and advertising landscape.
