Responsibilities

Professionally service HVAC equipment and accessory items for residential customers.
Perform general and other inspections of all types of appliances for residential users.
Adhere to all safety rules.
Explain the benefits of newer, high-efficient equipment to customers.
Ensure the safe operation of all new installations and instruct customers on proper care and maintenance.
Maintain company vehicle to neat, clean, and safe standards.
Promote Reliance Home Comfort products and services on every call.

Requirements

Must meet Company requirements regarding general qualifications.
Must have completed a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Must be an installer or technician.
Must possess a Gas Technician ‘2’ (G2) license.
Must have 2 years of HVAC experience.
Must be registered in the Apprenticeship program.
Must be accepted by OCOT and maintain all fees, required licenses, and progress in a timely manner.
Must be effective at HVAC lead generation and CPP enrollments.
Must demonstrate strong technical and customer service skills, and knowledge of company metrics in current and previous roles.
Must possess a valid full G Driver’s License.
Must be able to progress through all levels of this apprenticeship in a timely manner.
Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position.
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both in written and verbal communications.
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to understand/learn new technologies (e.g., electronics, electricity, pressures).
