About the Role
Lead a team of engineers in the design and delivery of innovative precast concrete structural systems for complex projects. Influence the future of structural engineering within an integrated design-build environment, guiding teams, serving as Engineer of Record, and driving innovation.
Responsibilities
- Exercise a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Structural Engineers.
- Direct the structural design of full precast concrete systems.
- Serve as the Engineer of Record (EOR) on applicable projects.
- Oversee structural calculations, engineering details, drawings, and technical submittals.
- Provide technical leadership in the analysis and design of reinforced and prestressed concrete systems.
- Manage engineering workloads, resources, and project priorities.
- Partner closely with Project Management, Manufacturing, and Field Operations.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
- Identify engineering risks and develop practical, cost-effective structural solutions.
- Promote continuous improvement, innovation, and engineering excellence.
- Represent Clark Pacific within industry organizations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Licensed Structural Engineer (SE) in the State of California, or ability to obtain licensure within six months.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive structural engineering design experience.
- Minimum of 4 years leading or managing engineering teams.
- Experience serving as the lead structural engineer or design manager on large, complex structural projects.
- Strong experience in the analysis and design of reinforced concrete structural systems, including lateral force-resisting systems.
- Proven ability to successfully manage multiple engineering projects while meeting demanding schedules.
Skills
- Strong technical expertise in structural engineering and reinforced concrete design.
- Experience with structural analysis software such as RISA, RAM, ETABS, or similar programs.
- Thorough understanding of applicable building codes and standards including CBC, IBC, ASCE, ACI, and AISC.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to solve complex engineering challenges.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, or BIM software is a plus.

Salary/Compensations
- $130,000 – $215,000 annually
