About the Role

The Principal Technical Product Manager owns the deliverables for major areas of the Kepware product portfolio. This senior leadership role is accountable for delivering working software at scale and setting the standard for other Technical Product Managers.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product backlog and roadmap, translating product vision into an actionable roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Drive delivery at scale by leading teams to deliver working software predictably, managing dependencies and clearing blockers.
  • Lead and coordinate geographically distributed teams across multiple time zones.
  • Integrate contractor and consultant teams by setting clear expectations, quality standards, and outcomes.
  • Translate product vision and business goals into technical requirements for engineering execution.
  • Communicate technical realities back to stakeholders.
  • Model best practices in product execution and delivery, mentoring other Technical Product Managers.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product Management, Product Marketing, Architecture, Engineering, Quality, Security, and Support.
  • Contribute to product vision and strategy.
  • Take ownership for product delivery, including what ships, when it ships, and its quality.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and policies.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as a Technical Product Manager, Product Owner, or equivalent role owning major product areas.
  • Strong track record of delivering complex software products to market on predictable cadences.
  • Experience leading geographically distributed teams.
  • Experience working with consultant, contractor, or augmented teams.
  • Strong technical foundation to engage credibly with engineering on architecture, tradeoffs, and technical decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with autonomy in ambiguous, shifting environments.
  • Excellent prioritization, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience mentoring or setting standards for other TPMs.
  • Experience in enterprise software.
  • Experience in the industrial manufacturing space.
  • Experience with modernization, migration, or platform consolidation efforts.
  • Familiarity with agentic AI / AI-assisted development workflows.
