About the Role

The Time and Attendance Coordinator plays an essential role in growing talent within the business through collaboration and sharing best practices. This role supports the administration of hourly timecards, time-off requests, and the collection and tracking of individual production numbers for targets and bonuses. The coordinator embraces Lush culture and values, working closely with management and payroll teams to support department performance initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly confirm the attendance of staff to ensure everyone is accounted for.
  • Check the department sick email to report anyone who has called in absent.
  • Contact late/absent staff to obtain and document reasons for missing work.
  • Track and document staff working hours and obtain management authorization for missed hours.
  • Calculate and submit extra hours for overtime during peak times.
  • Collaborate with room leadership to correctly submit daily bonuses for the department.
  • Administer ADP to ensure employee timecards are entered correctly and approved.
  • Monitor absences and ensure employees are utilizing appropriate requests in accordance with Lush policy.
  • Identify recurring attendance issues and escalate concerns to department leadership.
  • Conduct Return-to-Work (RTW) forms for all production workers.
  • Collaborate with Lush payroll, finance, and other departments as needed.
  • Assist staff with vacation and time off requests and ensure they are properly logged.
  • Monitor staff vacation requests against available hours and notify leadership of discrepancies.

Requirements

  • Current Lush Employee
  • Has held current role for a minimum of 1 year
  • Intermediate proficiency in word processing and use of spreadsheets (MS Excel, Word, and Google Suite)
  • Proven experience in data collection, entry, and reporting, with exceptional attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Confident with mathematics, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
  • Ability to multitask and delegate effectively
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships in a manufacturing environment
  • Collaborative and flexible team player with a strong focus on teamwork and cooperation
  • Basic knowledge of accounting (Preferred)
  • Scheduling/processing experience (Preferred)
  • Comfortable with providing and receiving feedback as needed (Preferred)
