About the Role

Dream's Property Accounting team is looking for an Accountant to manage a portfolio of properties within the department. The ideal candidate is responsive, a team player, eager to learn, and innovative.

Responsibilities

  • Complete monthly, quarterly, and yearly preparation & reporting of property financials including balance sheet, income statement, capital expenditures and leasing costs, annual operating cost recoveries, accounts receivable and bad debts/provisions.
  • Prepare monthly property-level financial analysis for the property managers.
  • Prepare revenue analysis and review for respective portfolio.
  • Complete recovery ratio analysis and provide commentary.
  • Participate in monthly operational/financial review meetings.
  • Review, analyze and process property budgets.

Requirements

  • At least 3+ years’ direct property accounting experience in Commercial Property Management and lease commercial property accounting.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to deliver against tight deadlines.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Strong people skills with ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization.
