About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our Accounting Pod, focusing on critical trust accounting features within the Rentvine platform. This role involves defining product strategy and driving hands-on execution, partnering with engineering, design, and customer success to enhance complex financial workflows and integrate AI/automation.
Responsibilities
- Own the product vision and roadmap for Rentvine's trust accounting engine, including ledger, reconciliation, month-end close, and compliance.
- Improve monthly accounting workflows to reduce friction, surface anomalies, and maintain oversight on high-value transactions.
- Shape features that ensure compliance with property management accounting regulations.
- Own the end-to-end experience for accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments, owner distributions, and tenant billing.
- Enhance disbursement workflows for speed, accuracy, and transparency.
- Understand customer pain points related to payment timing, exceptions, and reporting.
- Partner to identify and define high-value automation opportunities within accounting using AI/ML.
- Define the role of AI in reducing manual work and error detection while preserving human judgment.
- Shape product thinking around accounting-focused agent workforce, augmenting property manager expertise.
- Translate customer research, data, and market signals into a prioritized roadmap.
- Write clear product specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Lead sprint ceremonies, unblock teams, make tradeoff decisions, and communicate progress.
- Build relationships with power users and key accounts in the accounting domain.
- Track feature adoption and impact metrics post-launch to inform iteration.
- Represent the Accounting Pod in cross-pod planning and elevate the product organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience.
- At least 2 years in PropTech, property management software, or a closely adjacent domain.
- Strong command of property management accounting fundamentals (trust accounting, owner disbursements, ledger management, or similar).
- Demonstrated ability to own both strategy (roadmap, vision) and execution (delivery, scoping, unblocking).
- Experience working on or alongside AI/ML product initiatives.
- Comfort defining where automation belongs and where it doesn't.
- Excellent communication skills (writing specs, customer calls, executive presentations).
- Strong analytical instincts and ability to translate data into product decisions.
- Experience with modern product tooling (Linear or similar, customer research platforms, analytics tools).
- Must currently reside in the United States of America.
- East Coast preferred.
