About the Role
Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School Age Childcare Staff for our After School Program at our Woestina Elementary School location for the 2026–2027 school year. This role is ideal for individuals who love working with children and are seeking a schedule that aligns with the school day.
Responsibilities
- Ensure children are engaged, safe, and having fun.
- Maintain program quality reflecting Healthy Kids Program’s model.
- Ensure the site is fully staffed and teachers are prepared and supported.
- Operate in ratio at all times and maintain accurate records.
- Manage inventory of supplies and materials for teachers.
- Assist children in learning through play and positive experiences.
- Encourage children's curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
- Communicate effectively with families.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferably 1 year of experience working with children under 13.
- Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB.
- Must be warm, friendly, and upbeat.
- Possess exceptional people skills, be professional, reliable, and prompt.
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and keep up with children.

Work Type

- Follows the school calendar
- Morning Program: 7:00 - 8:30 am
- Afternoon Program: 1:45 - 5:00 pm
- Opportunities available for morning, afternoon, or both programs
Experience Level
- 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 (preferred)

Salary/Compensations
- $16.00 per hour
