About the Role

HappyRobot is seeking a Head of Workplace Services to own the company's workplace strategy and operations end-to-end. This role involves shaping the long-term workplace vision, managing real estate, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring all spaces reflect HappyRobot's culture and pace. The position requires close collaboration with various internal teams to deliver spaces that support collaboration and productivity.

Responsibilities

Set the vision and build scalable processes for HappyRobot’s workplace operations as the company grows.
Lead real estate strategy, including lease negotiations, broker and vendor management, and office build-outs and openings.
Manage workplace budgets and optimize spend across real estate, operations, and vendors to keep spend efficient at scale.
Oversee day-to-day office operations, including facilities, workplace experience, safety, and vendor relationships.
Build and manage a team of workplace and office leaders as HappyRobot expands into new locations.
Partner with People, Finance, IT, and the executive team on space planning, headcount growth, and workplace policy.
Establish the systems, tools, and standards that keep HappyRobot’s offices running with precision as the team scales.

Requirements

Experience leading workplace, facilities, or real estate operations at a high-growth company.
A track record of managing lease negotiations, vendor relationships, and office build-outs.
Strong people leadership skills, with experience building and scaling a team.
Comfort moving between long-term strategic planning and hands-on, tactical execution.
Strong project management and vendor management skills, with an eye for detail.
A bias toward action and a willingness to solve problems directly, regardless of whether they fall neatly within scope.
