About the Role

McCormick Canada is a respected leader in the spice, seasoning, flavouring, and specialty food industry, seeking a Line Operator to join their Operations team. This role is crucial for maintaining production lines and contributing to the company's success.

Responsibilities

  • Supply and operate production lines
  • Assist in changeovers and complete required checklists
  • Participate in Journey to Excellence and Total Preventive Maintenance initiatives
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate when needed
  • Make suggestions for line improvements
  • Work safely and follow all in-place policies and procedures

Requirements

  • OSSD diploma or equivalent and successful passing of basic qualification testing
  • Ability to safely perform physical work, including pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 60lbs repetitively
  • Ability to work overtime and in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to identify work in process and packaging material problems
  • Possess strong attention to detail, organization, and written and verbal communication skills
  • Capability to complete training for McCormick certification for forklift

Salary/Compensations

  • $21.23 + $1.50 shift differential
