About the Role

The IMA Group is seeking a Spanish/English Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a part-time opportunity performing speech and language evaluations for individuals applying for Social Security disability benefits. This role offers a predictable schedule focused exclusively on clinical evaluations, assessing communication abilities, completing documentation, and providing objective clinical findings without therapy sessions, treatment plans, IEP meetings, or ongoing caseload management.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for pediatric patients
  • Assess functional communication abilities and limitations
  • Complete accurate clinical reports and documentation
  • Provide objective evaluation findings to support disability determinations
  • Maintain high-quality clinical standards

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active New York SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
  • Experience conducting pediatric speech and language evaluations
