About the Role

Provides fast, friendly service to all Price Chopper customers. Responsible for the operation of the meat department in the absence of the meat manager. Cuts all meat in accordance with trim "specs" and guidelines and ensures the quality and freshness of product in the meat case to promote optimal opportunity for sales. Responsible for providing excellent customer service and courtesy. Must adhere to all sanitation guidelines.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through.
Ability to pass a cutting test.
Satisfactory performance reviews.
Basic computer skills.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to stand for constant periods (5-8 hours).
Ability to walk for constant periods (5-8 hours).
Ability to grasp/use finger dexterity for constant periods (5-8 hours).
Ability to pivot for constant periods (5-8 hours).
Ability to push/pull for constant periods (5-8 hours) up to 75lbs.
Ability to twist for constant periods (5-8 hours).
Ability to work in a cold environment for constant periods (5-8 hours).
