About the Role

This role is responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring inbound equipment and materials shipments, managing the warehouse, coordinating inbound logistics, tracking project metrics, and managing inventory control systems.

Responsibilities

• Follows established company policies and procedures and applies acquired job skills.
• Creates and manages Import/Export and Domestic Shipment Files, including file creation, building loads, selecting modes/carriers, tracking shipments, issuing import/delivery instructions, issuing arrival notices, updating transit reports and databases, and ensuring invoicing.
• Manages finished goods inventory.
• Prepares and updates product order fulfillment reports.
• Proofs shipping documents.
• Prepares periodic reports for U.S. customs.
• Provides back-up for production planning at contract manufacturers.
• Manages customer returns and non-conforming material transactions.
• Coordinates donation and sale efforts of low turn inventory.
• Provides input regarding potential efficiency improvements in Logistic Operations.
• Files and resolves freight claims.
• Reviews and codes service provider invoices and records costs.
• Reviews and complies with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable policies, laws, and regulations.
• Assists with various projects as assigned.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for all 3PL logistics partners.
• Investigates and resolves delivery and product complaints.
• Acts as the main point of contact for the FMC Customer Service team, managing escalations.
• Coordinates pallet/drum returns and RGA processes.
• Supports load planning for large orders.
• Manages day reschedules and redeliveries.
• Prints and manages bills of lading (BOL) and packing lists.
• Sets up new vendors for facility services and notifies partners of middle mile shuttles.
• Interfaces with warehouse personnel to resolve operational questions and coordinate orders, shuttles, and RGAs.
• Provides weekend/holiday on-call support when necessary.
• Monitors and manages the flow of off-schedule orders to 3PLs.
• Conducts order confirmation calls with patients as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in inventory control, purchasing, or production planning/supervising.
• Medical device or diagnostics experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with MRP/ERP/WMS application software.
• Experienced in PC applications such as Access, Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
