About the Role

Ledcor Construction Group (LCG) is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex commercial and high-rise construction projects in Toronto, Scarborough, and North York. This role involves developing and executing project plans, ensuring safety and quality standards, and meeting project budgets, schedules, and scope.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates leadership in health, safety, and environmental protection.
Promotes overall compliance of Ledcor HS&E standards, applicable OH&S acts, regulations, and codes.
Creates and/or facilitates the Project Quality Program.
Ensures projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes.
Develops and maintains the construction schedule to meet milestones and completion dates.
Leads project meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
Provides strong leadership to construction team members.
Identifies and manages opportunities and risks.
Maintains, tracks, and reports all financial aspects of the project.
Manages the procurement process, including negotiations and awards.
Performs other related duties as outlined in Ledcor’s Construction Operations Manual.

Requirements

10+ years of related work experience as a Project Manager on commercial and high-rise construction projects.
Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, costs, budgets, and current construction practices and methodology.
Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
Ability to determine a problem’s root causes and identify solutions.
Capable of anticipating constructability issues and creating new solutions.
Strong negotiation skills; ability to influence and persuade others.
A track record of building successful teams and promoting teamwork.
Must have and maintain a valid provincial driver’s license.
