About the Role
The Real Estate Associate supports the management and strategic growth of the HUGO BOSS retail portfolio across the United States and Canada. This role blends lease administration, financial analysis, market research, portfolio management, and transaction support, partnering cross-functionally to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate lease administration records and track critical lease dates.
- Prepare and maintain reports, dashboards, and schedules for executives and cross-functional partners.
- Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting for occupancy costs and real estate initiatives.
- Analyze store performance, occupancy costs, rent-to-sales ratios, and profitability.
- Develop financial models, proformas, ROI analyses, and profitability forecasts for real estate transactions.
- Prepare board approval presentations and investment summaries.
- Analyze market data and create trade area maps to support site selection and portfolio optimization.
- Evaluate landlord proposals and compare lease scenarios.
- Support lease renewals, amendments, relocations, and new deal negotiations.
- Participate in real estate meetings and present analyses and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support real estate initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 1+ years of relevant experience preferred in commercial real estate, retail real estate, finance, accounting, market research, business analysis, or a related field (internship experience may be considered).
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently analyze data and develop clear, actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to take on increasing responsibility.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
