About the Role
The Ad Operations Manager will play a key role in supporting Haymarket Media’s digital advertising business. This role is responsible for trafficking and monitoring ad campaigns across website and newsletter inventory. The role will collaborate closely with Client Success, Marketing, and Email Ops to ensure timely and accurate campaign execution that meets or exceeds client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Book, traffic, and QA all ad campaigns and creative assets across Google Ad Manager, LiveIntent, and DSP platforms to ensure technical compliance.
- Monitor campaign performance daily using tools like STAQ to track pacing, discrepancies, viewability, NHT, and brand safety.
- Act as the technical escalation point for complex troubleshooting.
- Deliver performance reporting and insights to cross-functional stakeholders to drive campaign optimization.
- Identify ad tech stack inefficiencies and lead workflow projects to improve overall delivery and QA processes.
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of digital ad operations experience, preferably within a publisher, media agency, or programmatic environment.
- Advanced mastery of Google Ad Manager and LiveIntent; deep familiarity with DSP/SSP platforms (e.g., The Trade Desk, Nexxen).
- Strong understanding of the programmatic landscape, including header bidding, identity solutions (UID2, LiveRamp), and privacy compliance (GDPR/CCPA).
- Experience with verification tools (DoubleVerify, IAS) and technical knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and VAST tags.
- Interest in people leadership, with a strong desire to transition into a management role as the team scales.
- Proactive problem-solver with exceptional troubleshooting skills and a strong sense of ownership.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and analyze data using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
