About the Role
Join the Flair Vacations Commercial team as the Business Development Manager, playing a key role in driving sales growth and expanding presence within the travel industry. You will develop and execute territory sales strategies, build relationships with travel agency partners, identify new business opportunities, and grow existing accounts to increase revenue and market share.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory sales and business development strategies that support revenue growth, market expansion, and the achievement of commercial objectives.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities while growing existing travel agency accounts and strategic partnerships within the assigned territory.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with travel agencies, host agencies, tourism boards, hotel partners, and other key industry stakeholders to drive long-term business growth.
- Serve as the primary business contact for agency partners within the assigned territory, providing ongoing support, resolving issues, and identifying opportunities to increase sales performance.
- Achieve assigned sales targets, revenue objectives, and key performance indicators through strategic account management, business development initiatives, and territory planning.
- Analyze sales performance, market conditions, customer trends, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and recommend strategies that strengthen the Company's market position.
- Prepare and deliver product presentations, destination updates, sales meetings, and educational training sessions to agency partners, both virtually and in person.
- Represent Flair Vacations at trade shows, industry events, conferences, consumer shows, networking events, and partner functions to promote the Company's products, strengthen industry relationships, and generate new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to support regional campaigns, promotional initiatives, partner marketing activities, and sales programs that increase customer demand and partner engagement.
- Maintain accurate customer, sales, pipeline, and account information within the Company's CRM system, ensuring timely reporting and effective pipeline management.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, territory performance reports, business reviews, and strategic recommendations for leadership.
- Manage assigned sales and marketing budgets responsibly while maximizing return on investment for regional initiatives and partnership activities.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Customer Experience, Operations, Revenue Management, and other internal stakeholders to ensure business development activities align with commercial priorities and deliver an exceptional partner experience.
- Participate in departmental meetings, sales planning sessions, training initiatives, and continuous improvement activities that support the achievement of business objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Clear criminal record check and satisfactory references.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restriction.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.

- Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory and attend occasional evenings, weekends, and industry events as required.

Experience Level
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or partnership management, preferably within the travel, tourism, hospitality, airline, or vacation industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets, driving revenue growth, and expanding market share.
- Demonstrated success building and managing strategic partnerships with travel agencies, host agencies, tourism organizations, hotel partners, or other business partners.
- Experience identifying new business opportunities, growing existing accounts, and implementing territory sales strategies.
- Experience preparing and delivering sales presentations, product training, or educational sessions to customers or business partners.
- Experience using CRM systems to manage customer relationships, sales pipelines, forecasting, and reporting.
Education Level
- Post-secondary diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant business development or sales experience may be considered.
