About the Role

The Senior Litigation Paralegal provides advanced litigation support to attorneys in all phases of complex litigation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in working on high-volume, deadline-driven matters.

Responsibilities

  • Manage case files from inception through trial and appeal
  • Coordinating discovery
  • Prepare court documents for filing
  • Conduct legal research
  • Assist with trial preparation
  • Serves as a key resource on court practices and helps develop junior paralegals

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience, preferably in a mid-to-large firm
  • Thorough understanding of the litigation process
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, iManage, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Fundamental proficiency in research and internet platforms such as Bloomberg Law, Lexis, Westlaw, CM/ECF, NYSCEF, and PacerPro
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and planning skills
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
  • The ability to work overtime as required, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and to travel for trials or work remotely as required
  • Ability to work with other managers and employees at all levels in a collaborative and collegial environment
