About the Role

The Marketing Specialist is a generalist role responsible for the day-to-day systems and program work that ensures GAINS marketing runs smoothly. This role involves administering marketing tools like HubSpot and Salesforce, and organizing logistics for marketing programs, including events and demand generation initiatives. It suits individuals comfortable managing multiple tasks and systems simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administration of HubSpot and Salesforce, including workflows, list segmentation, lead routing, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Support the execution of field marketing events, including venue and vendor coordination, event strategy, and follow-up.
  • Support third-party demand generation initiatives, including vendor coordination, lead delivery tracking, and basic performance reporting.
  • Compile marketing KPI reporting and dashboards covering campaign performance, event results, and pipeline contribution.
  • Document and refine marketing processes, such as event checklists and lead handling steps.
  • Act as a point of contact for marketing tools, assisting with onboarding, licensing, and contract management.
  • Collaborate with RevOps and Sales Operations to ensure data consistency between HubSpot and Salesforce.
  • Monitor data quality across marketing systems, identifying and cleaning duplicate or incomplete records.
  • Maintain campaign tracking basics like UTM parameters and form setups.
  • Track marketing spend across systems, events, and vendors.
  • Manage GAINS's social media channels, including scheduling, posting, and basic performance tracking.
  • Support the broader marketing team with operational and logistical tasks.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a marketing operations, marketing coordinator, or similar generalist role.
  • Working familiarity with HubSpot or a comparable marketing automation platform.
  • Basic working knowledge of Salesforce or a comparable CRM.
  • Some experience coordinating event logistics.
  • Comfort juggling systems work, program coordination, and vendor communication.
  • Solid Excel or spreadsheet skills for reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through on multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Good attention to detail, particularly around data entry and record accuracy.
  • Experience in a B2B SaaS or supply chain technology company (Nice to Have).
  • HubSpot certification (Marketing Hub or Revenue Operations) (Nice to Have).
  • Exposure to third-party demand generation or lead gen vendors (Nice to Have).
  • Experience supporting trade show or conference logistics (Nice to Have).
