About the Role
Ascend is seeking a BCBA Center/Clinical Director to lead a center-based program in Hawthorne, NY, focusing on new client evaluation, behavior assessments, treatment plan development, case management, and ABA Behavior Tech supervision.
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop/update treatment plans.
- Lead, supervise, and mentor treatment teams, including BCBAs and Behavior Techs/RBTs.
- Hold quarterly coaching sessions and performance evaluations for the treatment team.
- Provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis therapy with a focus on center-based sessions.
- Prepare and facilitate on-the-job staff training.
- Oversee and maintain accurate patient notes, data, and reports.
- Minimize cancellations of scheduled sessions.
- Train family members/guardians on implementing the treatment plan.
- Participate in team meetings and training workshops.
- Maintain professionalism and goal-orientation.
- Follow Ascend Autism Group policies and procedures.
- Abide by BACB guidelines, rules, and regulations.
Requirements
- Current Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.
- Active NY LBA.
- Minimum 1+ year of clinical supervisory experience in ABA or behavioral health services.
- Demonstrated experience providing clinical oversight of center-based ABA programs.
- Experience supervising paraprofessionals implementing ABA-based treatment programs.
- Experience working with young children receiving intensive ABA services.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong clinical judgment, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to lead clinical teams while ensuring regulatory and ethical compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to clinical care delivery.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback, coaching, and clinical guidance.
- Proficiency with electronic clinical documentation systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.

Salary/Compensations
- $85,000-$120,000 annually (base salary + bonuses)
