About the Role

As a Machine Learning Senior Staff Engineer, you will be integral to major architectural decisions and developments in our algorithms, particularly in deep neural networks. This role combines aspects of ML Scientist and Data Engineer, focusing on developing new features, measuring performance, and improving pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features, measure performance, and improve ML pipelines.
• Research, design, implement, and deploy full-stack scalable data analytics and machine learning solutions.
• Work on unique modeling challenges such as extreme positive sample sparsity and labelling delay.
• Analyze data from various sources to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Mentor other team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Data science positions.
• Very strong coding ability in Python, Scala, or Java.
• Proficiency in building high-performance algorithms in production.
• Proficiency in problem-solving.
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts.
• Experience in data mining and predictive modeling.
• Knowledge of Bitbucket/Git version tools.
• Experience working with SQL and data warehousing.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Fluency in English.
