About the Role
A busy Manhattan family seeks an experienced part-time nanny for their two children. The role involves school pick-ups, after-school activities, meal preparation, and light household tasks. The ideal candidate is warm, engaging, and provides gentle guidance, becoming a consistent presence in the home.
Responsibilities
- Collect children from their respective schools
- Accompany children to after-school activities
- Provide attentive, age-appropriate care and engagement
- Prepare snacks and simple dinners for the children
- Complete children's laundry and organise their clothing and belongings
- Keep children's bedrooms and play areas tidy
- Prepare school bags and activity equipment
- Complete other child-related household tasks as needed
- Keep parents updated about children's schedules and well-being
Requirements
- Legally authorised to work in the United States
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Available Monday through Thursday from 1:00–6:00 p.m.
- Comfortable managing two school pick-up locations
- Willing to complete child-related cooking, laundry, organisation, and light housekeeping
