About the Role

As a Garage Door Installer at Precision Garage Door Services, you will receive training to quickly become proficient with your own company vehicle and a stream of customers. We provide the training and tools necessary for career advancement and income control.

Responsibilities

• Repairing and installing garage door parts and equipment on-site.
• Diagnosing and repairing garage doors, operators, and replacing worn or broken parts.
• Installing new equipment, including doors and springs.
• Explaining repair options and work performed to customers.
• Selling services, repairs, and new equipment using a good/better/best model.
• Collecting payment from customers.
• Managing inventory, tools, and products in the company vehicle.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and technical skills are a plus (not required).
• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently.
• Ability to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, both indoors and outdoors.
• Interpersonal skills for effective customer communication and issue resolution.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliability and ability to follow company processes.
• Experience in the garage door industry is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and/or tablets.
• Ability to use hand tools and operate mechanical equipment.
