About the Role

The Strategy and Transformation Office (STO) is at the forefront of Highmark Health's mission to fix healthcare and solve community challenges. This hybrid role involves developing and executing innovative plans to improve individual health, increase patient engagement, and make healthcare more affordable through the Living Health strategy. The Associate Strategy Partner will collaborate with executives and stakeholders to assist in the development and improvement of key enterprise strategic initiatives, taking on roles in project management, problem-solving, data analytics, market analysis, team development, communication, and implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or support key strategic initiatives across Enterprise, including team leadership, problem-solving, data analysis, project management, communication, and implementation support.
  • Participate in the development of strategic plans for the Enterprise and key business units.
  • Support the team in identifying, clarifying, and resolving complex issues critical to initiative success.
  • Support the identification of initiative impacts with other strategic initiatives to ensure alignment of the overall strategy.
  • Help develop standard analytics and processes for leading strategic initiatives.
  • Play a role in shaping the culture and skill set of the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in Strategic Planning or related work experience in Business or Healthcare or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • 2 years of consulting experience (external or internal) or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • 6 years of experience in payer, hospital system, or care delivery industry (Preferred).
  • Experience influencing change in complex organizational systems (Preferred).
  • Compliance with ethical and legal standards, behavioral expectations, and company policies.
  • Compliance with HIPAA and data security guidelines.
  • Adherence to the company's Code of Business Conduct, applicable laws, rules, regulations, and training requirements.

Experience Level

  • 5 years of experience in Strategic Planning or related work experience in Business or Healthcare

Education Level

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, or related field, or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree.
  • Master’s Degree in Business, or related field (Preferred).
