About the Role
As a Garage Door Installer at Precision Garage Door Services, you will receive training to quickly become proficient with your own company vehicle and a stream of customers. We provide the necessary tools and training to support your career growth. You will directly assist customers by repairing, replacing, and installing garage doors, ensuring they understand all service options.
Responsibilities
- Repairing and installing garage door parts and equipment on-site.
- Diagnosing and repairing garage doors and operators.
- Replacing worn or broken door parts.
- Installing new equipment, including doors.
- Replacing springs.
- Explaining repair options and preventative measures to customers.
- Reviewing and explaining completed work to customers.
- Selling services, repairs, and new equipment using a defined model.
- Collecting payment from customers.
- Managing inventory of equipment, tools, and products in the company vehicle.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently.
- Must be able to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to work in varying temperatures, both indoors and outdoors.
- Possess interpersonal skills for effective customer communication and issue resolution.
- Communicate and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Be reliable and follow company processes.
- Must be able to use a computer and/or tablet.
- Must be able to use hand tools and operate mechanical equipment.
