About the Role
Join the pharmacy team at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, a 591-bed hospital affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College. In this role, you'll work closely with the Director of Pharmacy and Clinical Pharmacy Lead to provide collaborative pharmaceutical care to patients while working in conjunction with physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals. You will develop and conduct drug utilization reviews, recommend and/or implement programs for improving pharmacy resource management, and assist and educate pharmacists and residents. You will also assist with the pharmacy’s quality assurance activities and coordinate the department’s in-service trainings and employee/student education functions.
Responsibilities
- Provide collaborative pharmaceutical care to patients.
- Develop and conduct drug utilization reviews.
- Recommend and/or implement programs for improving pharmacy resource management.

- Assist with the pharmacy’s quality assurance activities.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
- New York State licensed and Registered Pharmacist or eligibility for licensure required as a Pharmacist by the State of New York within 3 months of employment.
- ASHP-accredited Post-Graduate Year One Residency completion.
- Knowledge in specialty area (Pediatrics).
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to use software programs for word processing and data management.
- All roles require on-site presence.
- Employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
- NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Salary/Compensations
- $157,000-$193,000/Annual
