About the Role
The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, managing schedules, budgets, materials, and communication to ensure high-quality, on-time, and on-budget project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Review project contracts, drawings, and specifications.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate with general contractors, engineers, and internal departments.
- Coordinate with field teams and internal departments to ensure quality, safety, and productivity.
- Monitor project progress, identify and communicate issues quickly, and document resolutions.
- Coordinate with purchasing to monitor and track key material orders and deliveries.
- Prepare and track cost estimates, change orders, and invoicing.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and logs.
- Monitor job costs against budget and forecast future costs.
- Serve as a point of contact for general contractors and clients.
- Conduct regular project meetings and provide status updates.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
Requirements
- 3+ years of project management experience in construction or a related trade.
- Strong knowledge of POC accounting/revenue recognition.
- Proven experience working for or with subcontractors.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Foundation (or similar ERP), MS Project).
- Must be able to visit job sites as needed.
