  • Maintain the dishwashing and sanitation areas in a clean, orderly, and audit-ready condition throughout the shift.
  • Perform scheduled and as-needed deep cleaning of sinks, floors, drains, walls, stainless-steel surfaces, equipment, and production workspaces.
  • Follow approved sanitation procedures, chemical concentrations, contact times, allergen controls, and cross-contamination prevention practices.
  • Safely prepare, label, use, and store cleaning chemicals in accordance with Safety Data Sheets and company procedures.
  • Transport cleaned and sanitized items to designated storage or production staging areas without compromising sanitation status.
  • Complete sanitation logs, checklists, chemical records, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
  • Identify and immediately report damaged tools, equipment concerns, pest activity, spills, safety hazards, or sanitation issues.
  • Support trash, recycling, compost, and regulated waste handling in accordance with company procedures.
  • Assist production teams with basic cleaning, staging, and material-handling tasks when primary sanitation duties are complete.
  • Follow all cGMP, food-safety, PPE, security, and workplace safety requirements.

Requirements

  • Ability to follow written procedures, chemical instructions, sanitation schedules, and supervisor direction.
  • Dependable attendance, punctuality, attention to detail, and a consistent sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with production and sanitation team members.
  • Comfort working around cannabis products and in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and regularly bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent exposure to water, humidity, cleaning chemicals, temperature changes, wet floors, and moderate production noise.
  • Ability to wear required PPE, which may include gloves, safety glasses, protective footwear, hair restraints, and other sanitation garments.
