About the Role
Brinkman Precision, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance and Facility Equipment Mechanic to join their growing team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of production and facility equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment.
- Assist with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
- Support repairs on motors, bearings, sensors, pumps, fans, and related equipment.
- Respond to maintenance requests from production teams in a timely and professional manner.
- Inspect equipment for wear, damage, or unsafe conditions.
- Assist with equipment installations, adjustments, and basic fabrication as needed.
- Follow lockout/tagout, machine guarding, and all plant safety procedures.
- Learn from senior maintenance team members and build technical knowledge over time.
Requirements
- 1-2 years minimum of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or similar environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic shop equipment.
- Ability to read basic instructions, manuals, diagrams, or work orders.
- Strong attention to safety and quality.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
