About the Role

Robotics and Digital Solutions (RDS) Division of The Hillman Group has an opening for a Part Time Field Service Technician in the Rochester, NY area. You will be trained on key duplicating, tag engraving kiosks, and 3rd party services. The territory consists of 40+ kiosks, with approximately 20-25 hours of work per week.

Responsibilities

• Re-stock and perform routine service on kiosks as needed.
• Perform on-call repairs or adjustments to the machine when it is out of order.
• Perform new kiosk installations or swap newer kiosks in the local area.
• Monitor machines in territory daily for issues and contact stores to resolve connectivity or power issues.
• Keep track of inventory for re-stocking machines.
• Grow revenue in territory by optimizing machine locations, uptime, product mix, and store relationships.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with tools and troubleshooting mechanical problems.
• Ability to read, write and speak fluent English to include technical jargon.
• Must have an excellent driving record with a valid driver's license.
• Must have reliable transportation with automobile insurance.
• Must have a reliable cell phone.

Skills

• Computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to always represent Hillman professionally.
• Ability to work weekends when required.
