About the Role
We are seeking an Automated QA Engineer with a passion for test automation, experience building scalable testing frameworks, and a strong software engineering mindset. You will collaborate with developers and clients to ensure high-quality software and shape modern QA practices, leveraging automation and AI to enhance software quality and development workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright.
- Create reliable end-to-end, integration, and regression test suites for modern web applications.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and clients to ensure software quality.
- Identify, document, and troubleshoot defects, working with engineering teams to resolve issues.
- Continuously improve automated testing processes, frameworks, and best practices.
- Participate in feature planning, technical discussions, and code reviews from a quality perspective.
- Help establish and promote QA standards across projects.
- Leverage AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency, productivity, and software quality.
- Support CI/CD workflows by integrating and maintaining automated test execution.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Proven experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks from the ground up.
- Experience testing modern web applications.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, QA best practices, and automation strategies.
- Experience working with JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate directly with clients and development teams.
- Self-starter mentality with a passion for delivering high-quality software.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Consulting or software development agency experience.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- AI-forward mindset with experience using AI tools to accelerate testing, development, and productivity.
- Background checks will be required.
