About the Role

DCI Donor Services is seeking a Software Developer to develop, implement, and maintain web applications and database functionality, contributing to their mission of saving lives through organ and tissue donation.

Responsibilities

  • Creates, develops, and maintains SharePoint sites throughout the organization, collaborating with business leaders for communication.
  • Develops and maintains database-driven websites, integrating data from various back-end services.
  • Develops applications to support business processes.
  • Designs and implements user-driven templates, databases, and interfaces, ensuring proper testing of web applications, units, and systems.
  • Provides strategies to identify, create, represent, distribute, and enable the use of SharePoint as a collaboration tool.
  • Provides accurate reporting with status reports of site activities and issues.
  • Learns quickly and applies knowledge effectively to the development of applications and tools.
  • Fields escalated helpdesk requests, enters helpdesk tickets, and resolves tickets.
  • Assists with the implementation and testing of applications.
  • Provides individual and group instruction/training as needed.
  • Performs additional duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 1-3 years of related experience.
  • Working knowledge and familiarity with at least two of the following program languages: C#, ASP.NET, SQL (SSMS), HTML, JavaScript, CSS, C++.
  • Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Technical skills required include Visual Studio, SQL Server, Web Development, and SharePoint development.
  • New employees must have their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by their potential start date or be able to supply proof of vaccination.
