About the Role
Inside Sales Representatives are responsible for fielding customer requests, assessing customer needs, providing solutions, preparing proposals, supporting pre- and post-order processes, and building relationships with customers and principals. The ideal candidate is a motivated individual with strong organizational skills and technical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate with a broad array of customers, including engineering, maintenance, and purchasing staff.
- Review and evaluate various RFQs & specifications.
- Provide professional and prompt responses via phone, fax, email, in-person, etc.
- Prepare quotations and proposals, and execute a follow-up process utilizing company tools and guidelines.
- Always provide a positive customer experience.
- Maintain customer contact information, per current procedures.
- Provide prompt technical & administrative assistance to all internal customers.
- Develop and maintain product expertise and market understanding.
- Maintain positive relationships with principals and establish effective marketing practices for their products.
- Keep an organized & resourceful work environment.
- Be a role model for constant learning and improvement.
- Occasional travel for training or other business purposes.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
