About the Role
The Investment Professional Development (IPD) team is dedicated to the growth and development of investment analysts, focusing on enhancing skills to drive superior alpha generation and improve investment processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day planning and delivery of the firm’s training program, including session logistics, communications, and materials.
- Maintain accurate program calendars, trackers, files, and materials, while monitoring deadlines and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate training-related activities for incoming associates, including schedules, program materials, and logistics, in partnership with Recruiting and other internal teams.
- Partner with investment professionals, Point72 Academy coaches, professors, and internal teams to address program needs.
- Identify opportunities to streamline recurring tasks, automate administrative processes where appropriate, and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- 1+ year of administrative experience in a corporate or fast-paced environment.
- Strong organization, dependability, and work ethic, with exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy and follow-through.
- Proactive ownership of responsibilities, with the ability to anticipate needs and develop effective systems to keep work organized and on track.
- Strong prioritization and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and adapt quickly as priorities or schedules change.
- Clear, professional communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Collaborative, hands-on approach with sound judgment and willingness to ask questions, escalate concerns, and address time-sensitive needs.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism, with a willingness to learn, incorporate feedback, and continuously improve.
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards.
