About the Role
The Legacy at Oak Hill Senior Living Community is seeking Full Time Med Techs to provide resident care under the supervision of the Assisted Living Director.
Responsibilities
- Takes and records vital signs.
- Measures and records height and weight.
- Calculates and records fluid intake and output.
- Recognizes and reports abnormal changes in body functioning to a supervisor.
- Assists residents with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
- Transfers, positions, and turns residents.
- Provides skin care.
- Contributes to resident assessment and the plan of care.
- Provides nursing rehabilitation and restorative nursing services.
- Cares for residents with dementia.
- Follows the schedule of resident needs set by the supervisor.
- Provides emotional and social support to residents.
- Promotes and protects resident rights, assists residents in making informed decisions, treats residents with dignity and respect, protects resident belongings, reports suspected abuse or neglect, avoids physical restraints, and supports independent expression, choice, and decision-making.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Medication Technician Certification.
- Previous experience working in a Senior Living Community.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
