About the Role
This role blends business analysis, product delivery, and hands-on system configuration for talent acquisition platforms like Beeline, Phenom, and Workday. You will gather business requirements, manage the enhancement backlog, prioritize features, configure systems, test, and ensure smooth deployment and ongoing support for optimal performance.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for system enhancements.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Perform hands-on configuration, system updates, and automations in Workday and other recruitment systems.
- Lead implementation activities including data conversion, configurations, and go-live plans.
- Manage system settings, workflows, and integrations with vendors and internal partners.
- Test and validate system changes before deployment.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of system capabilities and recommend improvements.
- Own and manage the enhancement backlog, ensuring stakeholder needs are captured and prioritized.
- Partner to evaluate feature requests and determine implementation approaches.
- Document test plans, test cases, and test results.
- Lead and execute functional testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Manage deployment activities and ensure seamless rollout of system changes.
- Provide post-deployment support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal system performance.
- Provide ongoing production support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Act as a liaison between business teams, technology partners, and vendors for issue resolution.
- Develop user guides and FAQs for end users.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve system processes and user experience.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in HR systems and talent acquisition.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as an HRIS lead or HR Business Systems Analyst, ideally within Talent Acquisition technology environments.
- Experience in system configuration and administration of at least one of the following: Workday, any Vendor Management System.
- Demonstrated experience in backlog management, feature prioritization, and product delivery.
- Strong understanding of Talent Acquisition and Contingent Workforce processes and their technology enablement.
- Strong understanding of workflows and integrations.
- Strong understanding of Talent Acquisition operations, ideally in contingent worker operations.
- Proven experience gathering and writing requirements, documenting processes, and executing testing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with testing, deployment, and post-launch support activities.
- Ability to troubleshoot system issues, coordinate with technology teams, and drive resolution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analyst or a related field.
