About the Role
Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation is seeking an Originator to source debt and equity, including permanent loans, bridge loans, and construction loans through various capital sources.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with developers, owners, and other third-party origination sources.
- Prescreen and qualify transactions before underwriting and marketing.
- Review offering memorandums, screen, and structure transactions.
- Prepare underwriting presentations.
- Secure favorable transactions by working closely with capital sources.
- Enhance investment sales agents' market position and assist them in generating revenue and market share.
- Create and maintain relationships with capital sources for superior transaction execution.
- Expand relationships with key market leaders, associations, and professional organizations to generate referrals.
- Position the Company as the real estate service provider of choice.
Requirements
- 7+ years of Capital Markets experience with a brokerage, investment bank, or principal.
- Ability to successfully transfer key relationships to the Company.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative personal/professional style that advances a partnered approach to meeting corporate objectives.
- Ability to work successfully in a large brokerage institution.
- Ability to effectively represent customers and business partners.
- Highly intelligent and creative thinker with the focus, energy, and leadership style to drive business.
- Track record of creating and developing client-centric and internal relationships.
- Well-rounded professional with high personal values, exceptional judgment, and discretion.
