About the Role
You will own the customer relationship from deal signing through onboarding, successful product rollout, and ongoing account management. This includes driving adoption, tracking account health, managing renewals, and identifying expansion opportunities. You will also play a key role in building the post-sales function, establishing repeatable processes, and advocating for customer needs internally.
Responsibilities
- Build mutual delivery plans with customers, defining success criteria, responsibilities, and timelines.
- Drive customer onboarding and ensure successful product implementation against real use cases.
- Manage ongoing customer relationships, tracking account health and conducting regular check-ins and business reviews.
- Proactively identify and address potential issues before they become risks.
- Escalate customer needs to engineering or founders when necessary.
- Own customer renewals and identify opportunities for account expansion.
- Resolve critical customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Advocate for customer needs internally to founders and product teams.
- Develop and refine post-sales processes, including delivery plan templates, health scoring, and sales handoffs.
- Contribute to hiring decisions for the customer success team as the company grows.
- Represent the company in person for business reviews, dinners, and on-site meetings.
Requirements
- Exceptional customer relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust and keep rollouts on track.
- Proven experience owning customer relationships end-to-end in customer success, account management, consulting, or a client-delivery role.
- Ability to run a plan and drive it to an outcome across a customer's team, aligning stakeholders and tracking commitments.
- Comfortable in technical conversations and able to explain product value to technical buyers.
- Experience carrying retention and expansion, or a strong commercial instinct for it.
- Demonstrated ability to build structure and processes where none existed.
- Calm demeanor under pressure and ability to own outcomes during challenging customer situations.
- Genuine curiosity about AI, agents, and their adoption by companies.
- Ability to move fast without excessive process.
- Willingness to grow into leading a team.
- Experience with enterprise rollouts involving security review, procurement, and multi-threading.
- Comfort representing the company in person.
