About the Role

As an Executive Assistant, you will directly support the Senior Vice President in Credit and Fraud Management. You will manage schedules, departmental events, and executive correspondence to ensure the effectiveness of the executive leadership team. You will liaise with RBC Leadership and business partners, follow-up on action items, maintain calendars, coordinate travel, organize files, prepare correspondence and presentation materials, and process expense reports.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain calendars, coordinate meetings and travel arrangements for the executive and their leadership teams.
  • Monitor an inbox to help manage meeting proposals, action items and address and delegate inquiries.
  • Follow up on agenda items or deliverables, including coordination with facilitators and presenters.
  • Support the overall objectives of the senior management team with meeting planning and materials.
  • Process monthly expense reports, maintain vacation schedules and up-to-date records within Workday.
  • Validate expense reports.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to provide additional value and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Work closely with other EAs to plan meetings, events and manage calendar series.
  • Support senior leaders in activities to drive deeper employee engagement.
  • Work with internal departments like Finance, Communications, and Employee Engagement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in an executive administration/coordinator capacity, supporting executives or senior level management.
  • Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills, with the ability to interact with individuals across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with a strong capability to prioritize activities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to change and navigate continuously shifting requirements.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook, WebEx and Concur (expense & travel system).
  • Strong organizational skills, including ability to organize, plan and schedule activities and manage calendars.
