About the Role

Quantexa is seeking a disciplined sales leader to build and define the sales engine for their Core Banking segment. This player-coach role involves leading, mentoring, and expanding a team of 4-6 sales professionals, transitioning them to sell the Contextual Decision Intelligence (CDI) platform capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the sales strategy and go-to-market plan for the North American Core Banking team.
  • Establish a disciplined, repeatable sales cadence.
  • Manage and mentor a team of 4 to 6 Sales Directors.
  • Actively participate in the sales process, co-selling and navigating complex deals.
  • Consistently deliver against sales targets, securing high-value enterprise platform deals.
  • Build a robust, qualified pipeline.
  • Educate bank executives on the strategic business value of a unified Decision Intelligence platform.
  • Partner closely with Solutions Engineering, Alliances, and Industry experts.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as an enterprise software sales manager or director in North America.
  • Demonstrated ability to hire, grow, and elevate high-performing sales teams.
  • Strict, process-driven seller using methodologies like MEDDPICC or Sandler.
  • Proven history of personally closing and overseeing large, complex, 7-figure enterprise software/platform transactions within the financial services sector.
  • Active selling partner who enjoys rolling up sleeves, chasing inbound leads, networking, and participating in deal cycles.
  • Ability to understand complex data challenges within a bank and articulate how advanced technology solves business pain points.
  • Experience collaborating with Global Alliances and partners to accelerate sales cycles and scale deal sizes.
  • Ambitious, highly energetic, and determined to succeed.
  • Direct, "no-nonsense" communicator with excellent executive presence.
  • Inclusive decision-maker who values collaboration but can take decisive independent action.
  • Resilient and perseverant through long, highly regulated banking procurement cycles.
