About the Role
The Order Builder is responsible for preparing customer orders for delivery in a fast-paced environment, ensuring orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
Responsibilities
- Accurately build and stage orders based on pick ticket for loading onto delivery trucks
- Manually lift and move product to restock and repack ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation
- Use appropriate manual or powered material handling equipment to move product and materials
- Adhere to procedures relating to product age, quality, and safety
- Meet productivity requirements
- Perform miscellaneous activities to support the efficient operation of the warehouse
Requirements
- 18+ years of age
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 6 months of general work experience
- Prior warehouse experience preferred
- Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred
- Ability to repetitively lift, push and pull 50+ pounds
- Ability to reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reach
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
- Ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment background verification
