About the Role

The Sales Merchandiser position is a hybrid role within our Large Store segment, functioning as both Account Manager and Merchandiser. You will be the primary contact between Coke Northeast management and store management, responsible for building customer relationships and increasing business by selling and ordering products. Additionally, you will stock product on shelves and in coolers, ensuring appropriate rotation standards are maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Educate and excite customers about our leading portfolio of beverages
  • Sell incremental displays, equipment placements and promotional programs where applicable
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels, company assets, promotional ad signage (point of sale) and displays
  • Ensure each account meets defined merchandising standards, determine stores’ product needs and transmit appropriate replenishment orders
  • Communicate and collaborate account activities to appropriate business partners
  • Regular lifting of up to 40 pounds, bending, reaching, kneeling and merchandising

Requirements

  • Valid Drivers License
  • Vehicle with insurance within company guidelines
  • 18+ years of age
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
  • 1+ years of general work experience required
  • 1+ years of relevant sales experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
  • Excellent planning and organization skills
  • Proficient computer application skills
  • Must have the ability to repetitively lift, pull and push up to 40 pounds, reach above head height, stand, walk, kneel, bend and reach
  • Must have the ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
  • Valid driver’s license, driving record within policy guidelines, and insurance that meets company requirements.
  • Employment with Coke Northeast is contingent upon the satisfactory completion of a pre-employment background verification. Depending on the role, this process may include a criminal background check, drug screening, and/or review of driving records in accordance with company guidelines and applicable laws.
