About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior Recruiter to join our Global Talent Acquisition team in Richmond. You’ll play a pivotal role in hiring top technology talent across Ireland, Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, and the Nordics. Your work will directly influence the future of eBay’s technology and products. Curiosity and eagerness to experiment with AI-driven recruiting tools are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Partner with senior tech leaders to build and implement hiring strategies.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment across multiple markets, including sourcing, assessment, negotiation, and closing.
- Build and activate diverse talent pipelines through networking, prospecting, and exploring new channels.
- Champion candidate experience, ensuring interactions reflect eBay’s values.
- Collaborate with People Operations, Business Partnering, DIB, and Compensation teams.
- Coach hiring managers and interview teams to enhance recruiting capabilities and ensure a consistent, inclusive process.
- Experiment with AI-driven recruiting tools and share findings to advance the function.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a technical recruiter, ideally within eCommerce or technology sectors.
- Solid understanding of EMEA labor markets and trends, with adaptability across countries.
- Passion for technology, innovation, and the future of recruiting, including curiosity about AI in hiring.
- Resilience and adaptability in a constantly evolving environment, with a team-first approach.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with leaders, colleagues, and candidates.
- Fluent English (other European languages are a plus).
- Hands-on experience with ATS and CRM tools (Workday, GEM), and sourcing platforms like LinkedIn.
