About the Role
As a Garage Door Installer at Precision Garage Door Services, you will receive training to quickly become proficient in repairing, replacing, and installing garage doors. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring they understand their service options and receive excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Repairing and installing garage door parts and equipment on-site.
- Diagnosing and repairing garage doors and operators.
- Replacing worn or broken door parts.
- Installing new doors and operators.
- Replacing springs.
- Reviewing and explaining completed work to customers.
- Collecting payment from customers.
- Managing inventory of equipment, tools, and products in the company vehicle.
- Maximizing time by addressing customer needs and offering solutions.
- Ensuring quality workmanship.
- Providing excellent customer service to generate positive reviews.
- Committing to safety in driving and work practices.
Requirements
- Must have mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds independently.
- Must be able to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to work in varying temperatures, both indoors and outdoors.
- Must possess interpersonal skills for effective customer communication and issue resolution.
- Must be able to communicate and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be reliable and able to follow company processes.
