About the Role

HP and 2020 Companies have partnered to hire an HP Retail Sales Associate. In this role, you will assist in driving sales and creating buzz and excitement around the HP brand and products in local big-box retailer(s) and surrounding office supply stores. You will demonstrate products to customers, tailor demonstrations to their ideal needs, and build rapport with customers and store personnel.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate HP products at Best Buy and surrounding office supply stores
• Engage and build rapport with customers by creating a memorable experience
• Maintain professional relationships with management and staff within the assigned store
• Train retail store associates on HP products and services
• Maintain displays for cleanliness, functionality, and demo-readiness
• Report and provide competitive insights
• Sell products and services in a retail store, kiosk, and/or event environments
• Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis
• Welcome customers and offer assistance
• Direct customers to displays, assess needs, and suggest products
• Advise customers by providing information on products and services
• Help customers make selections by building confidence
• Accurately document and report sales
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results
• Accurately track and communicate all activity to Retail Operations
• Ensure work station/kiosk is clean, well-organized, functional and presentable

Requirements

• 1-year job experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Six (6) months prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services
• Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to maintain customer confidentiality
