About the Role

Vishay Thin Film is seeking applicants for a 1st shift Assembly Operator position. This role involves assembling company products according to customer and job requirements, using documentation to determine assembly needs, acquiring necessary raw materials, and completing paperwork to track task completion.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble company product per customer requirements and job requirements
  • Use appropriate company documentation to determine specific assembly requirements of product being manufactured
  • Acquire necessary raw material for appropriate production areas
  • Complete necessary paperwork, record completion of tasks to accompany parts supplied to next department

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and write in order to understand production documents
  • Ability to multi-task is required
  • Basic math skills required
  • Computer skills required
  • Close attention to detail skills required
  • This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations. As such, this position is open only to applicants who qualify as “U.S. Persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.”
