About the Role

This role supports and enhances Standish’s marketing and communications, ensuring consistent messaging and visual identity across various channels. The Marketing & Communications Manager will translate business priorities into polished marketing deliverables and coordinate a wide range of initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Help maintain consistency of the Standish brand across external and internal communications, client-facing materials, digital channels, and events.
  • Develop creative marketing materials that communicate the firm's capabilities, differentiators, services, and expertise.
  • Coordinate external communications, including firm announcements, press releases, website updates, LinkedIn posts, and event promotion.
  • Support internal communications by helping create clear, consistent messaging for firmwide updates, leadership communications, and employee-facing materials.
  • Lead relationships with external vendors and creative partners, including graphic designers, photographers, web developers, and marketing agencies.
  • Oversee brand collateral, promotional materials, signage, gifts, presentations, banners, logos, and other branded assets.
  • Partner closely with corporate & business development to support corporate initiatives.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance business development materials, including client and prospect decks, presentations, and service line documentation.
  • Ensure consistent, accurate, and compelling messaging across all internal and external communications.
  • Coordinate the marketing and communications aspects of internal and external events, conferences, and networking events.
  • Develop event branding, invitations, attendee communications, signage, presentation materials, and photography coordination.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance attendee engagement, maximize event ROI, and strengthen relationships with clients, prospects, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Manage digital marketing initiatives, including website, email marketing, social media, and other digital communication channels.
  • Translate existing substantive content into compelling content that communicates the firm's investment philosophy, market expertise, and value proposition.
  • Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to develop and position case studies and success stories.
  • Track key marketing, website, social media, and event engagement metrics and provide periodic reporting to leadership.
  • Maintain marketing calendars, project timelines, templates, asset libraries, vendor contacts, and related administrative processes.
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 4-8+ years of experience in marketing, communications, presentation design, preferably within fund administration, financial services or alternative investment.
  • Demonstrated success supporting investor relations and investor communication.
  • Strong visual communication and presentation design skills, with the ability to make materials polished, cohesive, and client ready.
  • Advanced proficiency with marketing tools including PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools is a plus.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and marketing analytics tools.
  • MBA or other advanced degree.
  • Experience supporting private equity funds, venture capital, private credit, fund administration, corporate services, or other professional services organizations.
  • California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA)
